Mr. Gordon Mackie, a member of the Directors of the Murlidhar Ratanlal Group, is a widely recognised expert in textile engineering, marketing and process technology. He is now considered to be a celebrated International Textile Consultant. He joined the James Mackie & Sons Ltd as a Trainee Sales Engineer and progressed step by step. From 1981 to 1989 he was the Chairman & Chief Executive of James Mackie & Sons Ltd. A renowned author of many technical publications, Mr. Mackie undertook several studies at the behest of different sorts and International Books

Mr S.R. Dasgupta, a senior consultant with Technical Education in Manchester, U.K., started his career with James Mackie, Belfast after being thoroughly trained in manufacturing, installation, commissioning and maintenance of Jute and allied textile machinery. He also had been with Douglas Fraser, Arbroath, Scotland and FLCB, Leeds.
He possesses a good track record of efficiency and execution of several projects in Jute Mills in different parts of the world. The successful installing and commissioning of the Fine Yarn Unit of Kajaria Yarns & Twines Ltd. largely goes to his credit.
